Biography:

Lokita Carter is a direct lineage holder of SkyDancing Tantra who has worked closely with Margot Anand for almost 23 years. Through the Ecstatic Living Institute which they co-founded and led from 1999-2014, Lokita and her late husband Steve taught hundreds of Tantra seminars and coaching programs across the US and Central America. Life-threatening cancer and the tragic loss of Steve in 2015 have deepened Lokita’s teachings to new levels of intimate understanding of life, death and what’s really important: love.

Re-emerging victoriously from the darkest time of her life, Lokita is profoundly inspired to share her insights and passion for Tantra, and to let others taste the bliss that is possible when we are fully present to now, and in love with ourselves, each other and life at large. In her teaching, filled with depth, grace, lightness and humor, Lokita transmits a powerful message: by living authentically and in love, celebrating our body as a temple of the divine, we can in our lifetime create something that will never die.

Lokita began her tantric journey at age 15, and in addition to her many years of training, practice and teaching Tantra and meditation, she has indepth experience as a rebirthing/breathwork therapist, group facilitator, massage practitioner, aquatic fitness instructor, and Watsu^® therapist and teacher. She has also created Chakra Wisdom, a guided movement meditation for clarity, insight and transformation (available in English and German), and the powerful tantric practice video, The Breath of Tantric Love. Both can be purchased online as downloads in the SkyDancing Tantra Store USA.

Aside from SkyDancing Tantra, Lokita's passion has always been what she calls experiential writing. To that end, she is working on an inspirational memoir, and enthusiastically continues her blog, I Am Not My Body.

Currently Lokita offers exclusive, customized Tropical Tantra^® Coaching programs for couples in Costa Rica, as well as her annual The Yoga of Love^® workshop in upstate New York.

Lokita divides her time time between Costa Rica, Germany and the USA. Teachings are delivered in English or German.

Certified Teachers are experienced and inspiring professionals who support the vision of Margot Anand and SkyDancing Tantra International. They have completed training as a SkyDancing Tantra Teacher and are members in good standing with the SkyDancing Tantra Institute - USA.
The title of Certified Teacher was granted to them by a Certification Committee based on requirements such as (but not limited to): having attended and assisted the Love & Ecstasy Trainings and having successfully taught evening and weekend workshops based on the teachings of Margot Anand. By receiving this certification, these Teachers have agreed to comply with SkyDancing Tantra Ethical Standards and Guidelines.

Certified Presenters are skilled and dynamic professionals who support the vision of Margot Anand and SkyDancing Tantra International. They have completed training as a SkyDancing Tantra Presenter and are members in good standing with the SkyDancing Tantra Institute - USA.
The title of Certified Presenter was granted to them by a Certification Committee based on requirements such as (but not limited to): having attended the Love & Ecstasy Trainings, having successfully taught evening and 1/2 day workshops based on the teachings of Margot Anand, and having assisted Tantra seminars led by experienced teachers. By receiving this certification, these Presenters have agreed to comply with SkyDancing Tantra Ethical Standards and Guidelines".
